Good Location

Lovely hotel in a good location for Norwich. The staff were always polite and helpful. We stayed for 4 nights and were given a lovely room with a lounge area and huge bathroom. The room was comfortable, clean and well equipped, it even had a coffee maker. When we booked in we were told the hotel policy was not to provide room service unless we requested it, but to ask for fresh towels etc when they were needed. Initially, we felt this was a poor idea, but in reality it was absolutely great! We are tidy people, but we didn’t need to keep the room totally tidy all the time, which was brilliant and we found it was a much more relaxing stay. We used the spa which was good, though a little busy at times, but still enjoyable. Our room had towelling gowns and slippers which was very convenient for visiting the spa. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel restaurant each day. The breakfast buffet was fine with plenty of choice. The dinner menu and food was a good standard and very reasonably priced. The wine menu was reasonably priced too. We enjoyed our stay. It is a well located hotel within easy proximity to the coast and the top end of the Norfolk Broads. We will definitely stay here again.
